Blind Sport New Zealand Incorporated is New Zealand’s National Disability Sport Organisation for blind, deafblind and low vision sport and physical recreation. We are charged with leading sport and recreation opportunity and driving participation in blind and low vision sport throughout New Zealand.

Casey Flint


Growing up in Wellington, Casey was passionate about sport from a young age and took every opportunity to play, coach and volunteer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Sport and Recreation from AUT University in 2017 majoring in management and sports management. During that time, she completed a co-operative placement at Paralympics New Zealand which ignited her interest in Para and disability sport. Since then, Casey has worked at both Parafed Auckland and the Blind Foundation and joined the Blind Sport New Zealand Team in her role as Operations Manager. Casey is currently in the role of acting National Manager while the Blind Sport New Zealand strategic plan is finalised. Her work is focused on the growth and development of blind and low vision sport which includes supporting a wide range of local, regional and national organisations become leaders in the adaptive sport space. She also works behind the scenes organising the BSNZ Sport Awards and the Blind Sport New Zealand children’s programme.
