PROJECT AND PERFORMANCE FUNDING 2019/2020

Funding Background

Blind Sport New Zealand’s Project and Performance Funding Pools are available to affiliate sporting groups and athletes to apply to, with specific purpose. Applications are received by Blind Sport New Zealand quarterly, and the merits of each application will be considered by the BSNZ Funding Committee. The funding contribution confirmed by the Funding Committee is granted to the applicant to support the achievement of the goals/outcomes as specified in the application.

Expectations of Successful Applicants

Application outline, reporting, monitoring and evaluation

The funding applicant will define the project/s, setting out key goals and objectives; target group/s, expected outcomes, timelines and budgets. Formal reporting requirements will be set by Blind Sport New Zealand on approval of funding. Reporting may include data/statistics, a mid-point meeting and/or a Project Evaluation (templates supplied by Blind Sport New Zealand).

Branding

Blind Sport New Zealand’s branding is to be integrated into all aspects of the investment, logos and guidelines will be provided (where required).

Application Closing Date

Applications to the Blind Sport New Zealand Project and Performance Funding will be received quarterly. Submission deadlines for applications to either of the funding pools are below.

Quarter 1, July 1st to September 30th 2019
Submission Deadline – 1st June 2019, 5.00pm

Quarter 2, October 1st to December 31st 2019
Submission Deadline – 1st September 2019, 5.00pm

Quarter 3, January 1st to March 31st 2020
Submission Deadline – 1st December 2019, 5.00pm

Quarter 4, April 1st to June 30th 2020
Submission Deadline – 1st March 2020, 5.00pm
